Denmark and Italy

Feels so familiar on Jacob Apples Alle

Lars, Dea and Ellen were so great to take me alll around the city.

We might look related??

Had such a great time, thanks to everyone in Denmark.
Aage enjoyed reading the paper everyday.  His English was still very good as was Anna's.  Can't thank them enough for everything.

Enjoyed a great day in roskilde with Lars'Jens and Inge.

Mads had a great apartment in the city.
Loved this party bike.  Eating and driking while one guy drove, Denmark.

They don't let cool weather stop them from eating out in Denmark.

Harbor

We saw this pacifier tree near Mads place.  When the child gets ready to give up paci, they hang it on this tree

They often include a note with the paci

Boy and girl seal a relationship by locking a lock on these chains

La Spezia, the starting town for Cinque Terre hike

The hike is 11km and changes in elevation to 500mters.  Took us about 4.5 hours.

The views were amazing.

The trail linked five towns on the Italian coast (Cinque Terre, five towns)

The trail was sometimes good and sometimes not so good.

The water was so clear.
Went swimming at the last town and the water felt great after a hot hike.

Thanksgiving 2010 in Columbia

Grandma and Will read a book, a favorite with him.  He has his own words for many things. Anything with planes (airma), motorcycles (vroom vroom) ,boats (hi-ya) firetrucks (woo woo).

Who doesn't love pancakes.

Pa Pa and Will reading.  At the end of every book he says, good book.
Playing with decorations.  Only broke one. But worth the fun he he had.

Early morning with the bird.
Every kid who has ever been to our house loves Cody the bird.  Even kids who are now grown ask, do you still have that bird?  William is no exception.  He just says "caw caw " and that means bird.  Even when we skype with him, the first thing he says is, caw, caw and we have to go get the bird.
He loves a camera.
Grandma and Will were looking at pictures and naming everyone.  He loves one on one time, ok, so do we.
William is 20 months old and so much fun to play with.  He really says alot of words and he understands most of what you say to him.  We really enjoyed this Thanksgiving with everyone.
